ITINERARY
Day 1: Drive Hanoi – Mai Chau. Cycle to Hang village (L,D)
Day 2: Continue biking from Hang village to Hin village (B,L,D).
Day 3: Cycling to Canh Nang. Transfer back to Hanoi (B,L).

TOUR DETAIL
Day 1: Drive Hanoi – Mai Chau. Cycle to Hang village (L,D)
8:00am: You will be met up with The B Tourist  Travel team at your hotel in Hanoi (Please advise your hotel name). After a short briefing about the tour, we drive southwest to Mai Chau, the gateway to the impressive mountainous area of northern Vietnam. The drive is very nice with stunning view of mountains, valleys, sugarcane farms and rice paddies. We would have a stop en route for refreshment.
Upon arrival in Mai Chau we have a lunch stop in Pom Coong, a village of Thai ethnic minority.
We will have lunch in a local house.
After lunch we embark on a biking on village road to Hin, a village of Thai minority group which is located within Pu Luong Nature Reserve. We will first bike on beautiful tar road through Mai Chau valley before jumping into undulating dirt paths. We reach Hang Village around 5 pm.
We will have dinner and overnight in a traditional stilt-house of a Thai family.

Day 2: Continue biking from Hang village to Hin village (B,L,D).
Today is a tough day with long climb on mix of dirt paths and village roads.
In the morning we climb mainly.
In the afternoon we enjoy easier ride slightly downhill to Hin, a village of Thai minority. Great mountain view and scenic villages.
Lunch in local house en route.
Dinner and overnight in Hin village.
Day 3: Cycling to Canh Nang. Transfer back to Hanoi (B,L).
After breakfast we say good bye to the villagers and ride toward Ma River passing expansive maize fields. Near the river we would see many water wheels which used by the local to water their farms. We cross the river on bridge and have lunch in Canh Nang town.
After lunch, we get on our support vehicle and travel back to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at your hotel. End of The B Tourist  Travel service.

You will be met up by our guide and driver at around 7h30. Then depart Hanoi for Mai Chau. Enjoy the spectacular scenery whist transfer. From the top of Cun Mountain, one can admire the superb panorama of Mai Chau surrounded by a green valley and stilt houses.
Arriving at Poom Coong village for an early lunch. After lunch cycle to the Thai village of Cun Pheo on a mix of good single track paths and undulating rough jeep trails. The views are stunning as the ride passes through many villages and across rice paddies. Pass hot springs, cycle across suspension bridges and follow the contours round beautiful terraced rice fields.
On arriving in Cun Pheo village the rest of the afternoon is at leisure to wander by foot or explore the village trails further by bike. Overnight in local village homestay.
Day 2: Continue biking. Mai Chau valley - Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B,L,D)
Along with The B Tourist  biking guide, you will continue riding to Co Luong on paved road. You start the off-road bike from Co Luong to Kho Muong village.
You cycle past rice fields and bananas plantations as you pass through small minority villages inhabited by the Muong and the Thai. There are two hard climbs today the first starts after 1 km with a 3 km ascent but the second, and most challenging comes at the end of this stunning day, with an 5 km strength-sapping climb.
You finish the day with a stunning descend on a winding trail  into Kho Muong village.
Dinner and homestay in a stilt house in Kho Muong village of Thai minority people.
Day 3: Bike Kho Muong village - Pho Doan town - Canh Nang (B,L)
After breakfast, you will bike on the village path uphill to the dirt road. This part of the road is in bad condition but offers beautiful views over Thai villages and terraced rice fields on the valley.
You cycle downhill on the single track to Pho Doan.
After lunch, provided in a local restaurant in town, you will continue pedaling along a mix of dirt tracks and tarmac trails through Thai village and across rice paddies. The biking follows a river gradually upstream, though the ride appears flat.
You will be picked up by your support vehicle at Canh Nang town and transferred back to Hanoi.
You will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi. The end of The B Tourist  Travel service.

TOUR DETAIL

Day 1: Hanoi city tour by bike (B,L).
After breakfast, enjoy a half day tour of Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. The tour includes such highlights as the Ho Chi Minh complex, the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son temple. Walking around the Old Quarter.
In the afternoon, our biking guide will take you to our bike store, where you will test the bike with your selected frame size. You can also put your gear on the bike for your convenience. Please arrange stuff for 4 night trip in your backpacks/bags, the rest of your stuff can be stored in hotel.
Day 2: Drive Hanoi – Mai Chau. Start cycling Mai Chau valley (B,L,D).
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Hoa Binh province (to our biking start point) where you start cycling on the back road. It s nice and peaceful countryside view.
Arriving in Cun hill, you will be picked up by your vehicle and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, you will be taken to Ba Kan village for second bike ride of the day. The afternoon ride is through the village of the Muong people in the vallage floor and along the Da river reservoir, it s back road with view of the village and water.
Late of the day, we arrive in Village of the Thai People, where we have dinner prepared by local Thai family and overnight on the stilt house and explore the local culture.
Day 3: Continue cycling Mai Chau - Pu Luong Nature Reserve (B,L,D)
Pu Luong Nature Reserve is situated in Quan Hoa and Ba Thuoc districts of Thanh Hoa Province, North Central Coast region of Vietnam. The reserve is located along two parallel mountain ridges, that run from north-west to south-east, and are divided by a central valley, which contains several human settlements and a large agricultural land area, therefore, is not included within the nature reserve. Pu Luong is endowed with great biodiversity, its flora and fauna is closely associsted with the Cuc Phuong National Park 25 km south-east.
After Breakfast and farewel to the host, we cycle to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. We cycle on a dirt road through local Thai and Muong villges. Stops may be made en route for you to take picture and to visit local homes. Then Go on cycling on the Road 15 C untill we will get to a Thai village where we have lunch.
Afternoon is free for walking around this village. Diner and overnight in a local stilt house.
Day 4: Continue biking Pu Luong Nature Reserve –  Tam Coc (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we leave the village biking on a dirt roads with fews up and downhill rides. We then pedal on the Ho Chi Minh trails. It s an easy ride today with scenic highway. When we get to the left turn, we will get the transfer to Tam Coc.
Dinner and overnight in Tam Coc at hotel.
Day 5: Tam Coc boat trip. Return Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast, we get on board for a 2hr boat ride on the Ngo Dong river, Tam Coc to enjoy the “ Halong bay on land” and go through 3 caves. The boat row finish after 1,5hrs then we continue to cycle through countryside villages, rice fields to Hoa Lu ancient capital, Van Long and back road til we readh the Highway 1 where we finish cycling and get transferred to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Hanoi (own arrangements). The end of The B Tourist  Travel service.

TOUR DETAIL
Day 1: Overnight train to Laocai. 
Transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway station will be arranged by yourself. Take the night train for Laocai. Train??? Departure at ???. Overnight on board train.
Day 2: Arrive Laocai early this morning. Travel to Sapa. Full day cycling in Sapa (B,L,D).
Arrive Laocai early this morning. You will be greeted by The B Tourist  local team and transferred uphill to Sapa.
Breakfast will be provided in a local restaurant in town.
Enjoy a day biking through the Sapa valley. At first on a paved road for 7km, but then on single-track paths gradually ascend to the H’mong village of Sa Seng and then onto Hang. Then bike fast on high elevation for an hour before descend along a narrow single dirt track to the heart of Muong Hoa Valley.
Get to the center of Hau Thao Commune in mid afternoon. You will be picked up by our car for a 20 minutes road transfer back to Sapa.
Dinner and overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Continue biking Sapa – Laocai (B,L,D).
Begin the ride directly from Sapa and straight away flying along on a 6 kilometer stretch of single-track which gets through villages and paddy fields. Then a quiet country lane leads to another long section of single-track, at first involving a challenging climb and then a fast flowing downhill to join a remote jeep track. The jeep track climbs gently at first, but then provides an enormous, fast descent of over 1500 meters, before hitting tarmac for the final 30 kilometer stretch to Lao Cai City. This final 30 kilometer road section is a lot of fun as there is the opportunity for engaging conversation and sign language with curious locals!
This is a long and challenging day with around 8 hours on the trail.
Dinner and overnight in Laocai.
Day 4: Continue biking Laocai – Bac Ha (B,L,D).

After breakfast, load all the bikes onto support vehicles for a 45-minute transfer to the small village of Phong Nien. The riding begins on a good hard pack track along the side of a quiet road. Climbing gently for the first 10 kilometers, we will be able to watch the local villagers working in the fields, dressed in their traditional costumes. We then descend steeply for another 7 kilometers to a small village and footbridge that crosses the Song Chay River. Here, we board one of the traditional Vietnamese longboats and transfer for half an hour along a stunning Yangtse style river ride to a Tay village of Trung Do and lunch at a local home.
The afternoon ride featured with a tough alpine switchback road that climbs 1000 meters over 17 kilometers, before a final 5 kilometer descent into the highland market town of Bac Ha.
Check in the Sao Mai Hotel and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 5: Continue biking. Bac Ha - Can Cau - Si Ma Cai (B,L,D).
Breakfast and then bike straightly from Bac Ha. The first 12 kilometers on tarmac is a steady climb of 650 meters to a pass (1508m.), followed by a single dirt track through an untouched region over 16 km kilometers into Can Cau village.
Lunch break in a Flower H’mong homes.
In the afternoon, we will take an ascend for nearly 2 hours along another single track from Can Cau to Quan Than San Commune, then follow a single path for 14 km slightly downhill to Si Ma Cai town, situated amongst mountains and hills near the Chinese border.
Dinner and overnight in a simple hotel in Simakai.
Day 6: Biking to Muong Khuong. Travel to Lao Cai station. Overnight train back to Hanoi (B,L,D).
Breakfast and load all bikes and luggage on the support vehicle for 20km transfer Ta Gia Khau Commune. Then biking along a newly build tarmac which runs along a branch of the Chay River for 52km with three ascending and descending. It is great challenge but support vehicle always follow the group to support at any time.
Arriving to Muong Khuong Town in mid afternoon, load bikes on supporting van and transfer 55km to Lao Cai. Freshen up, relax and dinner before boarding the night train for Hanoi.

Day 7: Arrive Hanoi early this morning.

After breakfast, you will be met up with our team again and transferred to Luong Son, Hoa Binh province where you start cycling on the back road to Kim Boi direction. It s nice and peaceful countryside view.

You will get to Cun hill and the guide will pick you up at a place for lunch.

After lunch, you get transferred to Phu Cuong village for a second bike ride of the day. The afternoon ride is through the village of the Muong people in the vallage floor and along the Da river reservoir. It is back road ride with view of the village and water.

Late of the day, you arrive in the village of the Thai People, where you have dinner prepared by local Thai family and overnight on the stilt house and explore the local culture.

Day 3: Continue Biking l Mai Chau – Phu Yen (B,L,D)

After breakfast and farewel to the host, you get transfer to the old Highway #6 to Pha Ly Pass. From there, you start cycling to Van Yen Ferry and enjoy the spectacular view of the mountainous road and Da river side.
You arrive in Phu Yen in the afternoon. Check in Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

Day 4: Continue Cycling l Phu Yen – Mu Cang Chai (B,L,D)

After breakfast , you continue your mountain bike trip cycling from hotel to Ba Khe, and get transferred to Nghia Lo for lunch.

You will have a nice and scenic bike ride in the afternoon to Mu Cang Chai, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Continue Biking l Mu Cang Chai - Sapa (B,L,D)

Today ‘s cycle is moderate in the peaceful and nice road with nice and friendly countryside. You will cycle to Than Uyen where a stop will be made for you to have lunch.

After lunch, you may need a short break before you have the second bike ride in the afternoon to T junction of Road 4D to Sapa.
You will be picked up again by your support vehicle and transferred to Sapa. Check into a local hotel for overnight.

Day 6: Sapa Biking (B,L)

Start the Sapa mountain bike trip from Sapa for 10 minutes road ride southwards of Sapa town let. Then turn left and follow a large dirt and rocky track 1 hour uphill to Hang Da Village of the Hmong neat the top of Den Thang Mountain. Enjoy great view of Muong Hoa Valley

and a short walk to explore this isolated village.

Continue riding for 15 minutes on high elevation of the mountain side and then the track become narrow and tough for 1 hour downhill. Some part of the trail are really tough with loosed rocks. Passing several hamlets of the Black Hmong of Hau Thao Commune with some short stops for meeting peoples. Continue to Hoa Su Pan Village, enjoy lunch break.

Ride downhill and cross the river to other bank, and then uphill to Giang Tu Chai Village of the Red Zao. Explore this village and then passing through the bamboo forest, terraced rice field to Ta Van Village of the Giay. Cycle around this large village and stop biking in mid afternoon at Ta Van
Bridge. Picked up and transfer back to Sapa.
Free dinner and overnight in Sapa at hotel.

Day 7: Sapa – Hanoi (B,L)
After breakfast you farewel to Sapa and start your 10-hour road trip back to Hanoi. You have chance to enjoy the nice view of mountainous road. Lunch on the way. You get to Hanoi in the afternoon. Check into your hotel. The end of The B Tourist Travel service

A Day Bicycle Tour to Bat Trang Pottery Village

ITINERARY

7:00 AM: You will be met up with our guide at your hotel in Hanoi. He will help you to take a taxi to get to our bike store.
8:00 AM: Our biking guide will give a short briefing about the bikes such as how to change the speed drivetrain (there are 24-speed drivetrain). He also shares some useful information about the biking trail. It is possible for you to have some test ride to check the bike before starting your outdoor adventure.
You start riding along the dyke for some kilometers before joining a small biking trail that furrows among corn fields and vegetable, fruit gardens. You mostly cycle on the back roads amidst the wild nature and peaceful countryside villages.
After about two hour cycling, you arrive in Bat Trang village, a small village in the north of Vietnam, is about 13 kilometers southeast of Hanoi center, on the other side of the Red River. The village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality.
Lunch will be provided in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you will have a short walk to visit the village, discovering the village ceramic market, the Bat Trang temple, Bat Trang communal house. Discover the real life as you walk through tiny alleys that furrow continuously right and left.
Before taking the ride back, you may want to make a stop in a local workshop where you have the opportunity to learn all the steps of making a pottery. You can try to make your own pottery before saying good bye your “teacher” and enjoy two more hour cycling back to Hanoi.
Arriving back at our bike store at around 15:30 - 16:00, you will be transferred by taxi back to your hotel. Trip ends.
